Alright, this game has been advertised for a couple months or so, and outta boredom, i checked it out. Now, let me get this off my chest now. While this game claims to be free forever, its not in the long run. To get ANYTHING decent after you use what it gives you for free, you gotta pay to get anything good. Now, to add insult to injury, how do they celebrate the holidays? They offer a 'special package' which is gonna cost you 30 bucks, oh, but you do get to send a friend a free gift. The downside? To open it, they gotta spend 30 bucks to get a special key to open that gift. Anyways, enough of my complaints, this game is rather decent for an RTS-type game. You gather resources even when you're not playing, taking away from the worry of having to set more commands for such things. Now, because its like this, you also have to worry about being attacked while you're not on and thus, you can be good and fine when you log off but then have been raided to hell and back by the time you get back on. Now, you can join an alliance of other players who can help you by sending back-up troops or supplies, or even help you attack an strong foe, etc. Now, this game, like many online games, has a tutorial system with 'quests' which helps you learn how the interface and everything works and it does a really good job in doing so. Now, this tutorial can only take you so far, but when you're done with it, you should be able to do just about anything. Now, as i ranted earlier, the biggest problem is that this game almost requires you to buy stuff, with real money, to get the biggest things. Now, that being said, you do have a SLIM chance daily to get one of the buyable items from the wheel. But trust me, you're gonna need some incredible good luck to get anything decent. So in conclusion, while this game is pretty good, its kind of a let down as for a game thats 'free for ever', it can cost ya quite a bit if you want to skip building times and the like.

well, after 3 freaking hours (from what i've read, thats the norm time) of dowloading, i got to try l4d2....gotta say, in some ways its quite an improvement. Still, like many, i wish they'd gone with the original chars, due mostly to the slightly annoying accents. But accents aside, the new infected are fun to fight, and the 'wandering' witch thing is kindda interesting.

This game comes out next week, and there is a demo available on Live and PSN. After trying the demo, i've developed a want for this game as it plays well and is pretty damned funny. If you don't believe me, look it up on youtube and give opinions.

I know its an older game but i was thinking of gettin left 4 dead for my 360. Now, i want to know if this game is only really good online or if the off-line offerings would be alright as well.

fuck it, i'm takin the day off

Anyways, got the last fallout 3 DLC the other day and beat it last night. gotta say, the change of scenery was cool and some of the new weapons were cool. Only real complaint was the fact that once you start it, you gotta do the whole thing before you can go back to the normal part of the game......thoughts and opinions?

well, as fans of that site will know (or not know yet) there is posted on the front page that TKT is ending and personally, i am hoping its just a big prank.....thoughts?

GTA 4 or Halo 3. A tough choice to be sure. Any opinions on which to get?
